Lisa A. Kane; CHST, CSM, CHS-III, CAS; is the Director of Health, Safety & Emergency Services and is a member of the Board of Advisors at the World Institute for Security Enhancement with more than twenty five (25) years of combined experience in Emergency Services, Health & Safety, Risk Management and Homeland Security. She is credentialed as a Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST), Construction Safety Manager (CSM), and has an OSHA 500 “train the trainer” for OSHA 10 and 30 hour Construction Standards. Ms. Kane is also experienced in HAZWOPER, HAZ-MAT, and accident & fatality investigation.

After the advent of “911”, Ms. Kane was one of the first credentialed in Homeland Security through the American College of Forensic Examiners (ACFE) and is Certified in Homeland Security at Level-III (CHS-III), the designation granted to Homeland Security professionals by the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security.She has been granted a Certified Anti-Terrorism Specialist (CAS) designation by the Anti- Terrorism Certification Board (ATAB) of the International Society of Anti-Terrorism Professionals and is a member of its International Standing Committee for Homeland Security.

Her previous experience as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer and training with the California Office of Emergency Management, Law Enforcement Division; has been utilized to further her skill sets to assist in protection of U. S. Critical Infrastructure.

Ms. Kane has used the Incident Command System (ICS) in development of Emergency Action Plans (EAP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for Bomb Threat Planning & Management, was trained as a Structural and Wildland Federal Firefighter, Certified as a Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Dispute Resolution Mediator, and was a Regional Team member for Critical Stress Debriefing.

Ms.Kane received the Greatest Achievement Award from the Dale Carnegie Training Institute and is a professional member and has held a board position with the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).
