Randy Thomas is the United States Military Advisory for WISE. Randy is a 25+ year Veteran/retiree Command Sergeant Major the United States Army and served in various Special Operations organizations throughout his career.
He is a former Army Senior Leader, Army Ranger, and Intelligence Professional with eight operational deployments in support of National Command Authority objectives. He has over 18 years of experience providing intelligence and operational support to the 75 the Ranger Regiment, 1st Ranger Battalion, 3rd and 10th Special Forces Groups, several highly classified Special Mission Units (SMUs), as well as over six years of experience training Special Operations Forces. He is a combat Veteran of both Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Afghanistan. Additionally, Randy deployed in support of Peace Enforcement and Peace Keeping operations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, and Kosovo.
As a retired Command Sergeant Major, Randy is an experienced senior-level leader, integrator and trainer, with more than 25 years of broad-based and progressively responsible experience in intelligence analysis and operations and organizational development and effectiveness. He has the proven ability to partner with multi-echelon management teams, as well as cross-functional organizations to integrate personnel, training, and resources within an organizational operating strategy. He has experience in organizational and interagency start-ups, high-growth operations, and restructuring.
He is a highly qualified trainer in the areas of large and small unit training and operations. Randy has strong leadership and organizational skills, routinely planed, developed, and coordinated high-risk operations and training events, and forecasted resources, while successfully balancing priorities.
Randy has held a TOP SECRET-SCI security clearance, holds a Masters Degree in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso, and was awarded a Certificate of Executive Education in Business from the prestigious Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
