Matthew Parker is the Director of Executive Protection and Chair of Executive protection on the Academic Advisory Board at WISE. A professional dignitary and executive protection specialist with over sixteen years of experience with the US military, US law enforcement, and private or corporate dignitary and executive protection organizations.
Since his retirement from the US Army in May 2011 he has been the Chief Executive Officer of Independent Security Advisors LLC, a certified disabled veteran owned company where he directly oversees the ISA Operations Division, providing dignitary and executive protection services to diplomats and trade delegations, corporate officials, celebrities, and candidates for elected office.
Mr. Parker also continues to work on various solo assignments and details for the company as well as to support our affiliates and industry partners as a driver, close protection agent, or detail lead assigned to safeguard senior corporate executives and other high net-worth individuals.
In addition Mr. Parker provides program management and executive leadership services for executive protection organizations and special or large scale events and conventions, and has extensive experience as a special advisor and consultant on matters of protective operations, physical security, terrorism and extremism with MS Global LLC and the Institutional Investors Consulting Company. This experience is further highlighted by his former work with the Government of Iraq and the Kurdish Regional Assembly.
Mr. Parker is a state certified law enforcement instructor and enjoys time as the course lead and master instructor for programs of instruction relating to dignitary & executive protection and terrorism. These training programs developed by Mr. Parker are currently awarded law enforcement or state regulatory accreditation in six states, recognized for college credit by Henley Putnam University and received the first-ever endorsement by the International Foundation of Protection Officers.
